First Nations Acknowledgement

Beaufort Secondary College embraces the rich history of First Nations people. We recognise and actively participate in Reconciliation and NAIDOC Week celebrations, and we are committed to building a brighter future together, in which First Nations Perspectives play an integral role in education.

Our college has worked with local Wadawurrung artists and elders to incorporate First Nations people’s culture and history into our school buildings and grounds and via onsite smoking ceremonies. We continue to seek to learn more about the world’s longest surviving culture, while showing respect and appreciation for First Nations values and hospitality.
