Hands on Learning sign, crafted by 2021 HoL students

At Beaufort Secondary College we realise that some students learn better when they are able to work using their hands. To assist in supporting these students on their learning journey we offer an innovative Hands on Learning program from Year 7 to Year 10. Students partake in a wide variety of activities and tasks throughout the year, enabling them to build on their personal and social skills within the HoL team, while they develop new capabilities they can utilise in the real world. The program also encourages participants to maintain a good attendance record and work ethic.

Running for one full day per week, the program is based around a focussed learning plan, combining the students Hands on Learning and daily classroom activities.
